BALLINA R1 #5 Wainui Gold @ $7.50 (0.77 UNITS WIN). Fitter now third up, has won at this distance and likes the sting out of the ground.
Result: 3rd at SP $5.00. Rated $9.10. In a field of seven, Wainui Gold settled on the rails in second, a length or so behind the leader. Prior to the turn, there was a move from the back which Wainui Gold joined in and at the top of the straight had a small lead. Unfortunately it couldn’t finish the job as the back markers swooped in the final 100m. Outcome -0.77 Units.
KYNETON R6 #1 Viva Acheeva @ $8.50 (0.67 UNITS WIN). Been racing in stronger company and drops in grade and weight today. A winnable race for him.
Result: 4th at SP $9.00. Rated $9.40. Settled towards the tail of the field, one off the rails. Widest runner on the turn and while made initially ground just didn’t finish the race off. Outcome -0.67 Units.
WYONG R5 #4 Mighty Marmalade @ $7.50 (0.77 UNITS WIN). Placed two from three so far this campaign and B.Shinn is in the pig skin to take her to the next level. Nice overs.
Result: 2nd at SP $4.20. Rated $4.00. Settled three wide midfield. On the turn went forward and had a share of the lead at the top of the straight. The winner, Crafty Tycoon (SP $8.00) who came from the back and had an easier run in transit was too strong in the final stages and claimed victory. An easier passage and it could well have been a different result. Outcome -0.77 Units.
WYONG R7 #7 Joy For Us @ $8.00 (0.72 UNITS WIN). Overcome a bit of strife in the run to come on and win last start. A jump up here but a win would not surprise at overs.
Result: Unplaced at SP $4.00. Rated $3.25. Settled at the tail of the field on the rails. On the turn, eased out to be one of the widest runners and really got moving in the final 100m or so but it was too late by then. Outcome -0.72 Units.

TERANG R5 #1 Under God’s Sky @ $7.50 (0.77 UNITS WIN). Should be able to repeat the win here from last start win where he fought on well. Overs for a win today.
Result: Unplaced at SP $12.00. Rated $4.80. Nice overlay. Settled in third, one off the rails about a length off the leader. On the turn, started to drop out early and finished towards the tail, ten lengths behind the winner. Outcome -0.77 Units.
TERANG R6 #1 Tonteria @ $16.00 (0.34 UNITS WIN). Beaten well last start in soft going but expected to bounce back here on the win prior. Nice overs today for the win.
Result: 4th at SP $6.00. Rated $4.10. Good market support and nice overlay especially on early price. No closer than three wide the trip and was up near the lead. Considering the tough trip did well to keep on plugging away in the straight though never really looked like the winner at any stage. Outcome -0.34 Units.
ROSEHILL R6 #2 Frankley Awesome @ $9.00 (0.63 UNITS WIN). Strips fitter here today and has won second up and handles the going. K Lees on fire and Bowman in the saddle. Looks the goods here today.
Result: Unplaced at SP $7.00. Rated $16.90. From the insider barrier, immediately jagged back to settled towards the tail of the field, on the rails. Jockey realised at about the 200m mark horse wouldn’t challenge the leaders and didn’t push the horse greatly from then on in. Outcome -0.63 Units.
TERANG R8 #6 Cadabra @ $5.00 (1.25 UNITS WIN). Knocking on the door and flew home last start for 2nd. The extra 250m should suit her for a win.
Result: Unplaced at SP $7.00. Rated $7.50. Settled towards the back of the field, on the rails. Prior to the turn made a move three wide to sit on the turn in third but at the 200m, Cadabra had enough and tired to finish 12 lengths off the winner. Outcome -1.25 Units.
ROSEHILL R7 #5 Bull Market @ $8.50 (0.67 UNITS WIN). Going well this prep and coming into this looking for the hat trick. I reckon its possible with the Hoop the class the track and the distance and most of all the overs.
Result: 4th at SP $7.00. Rated $4.40. From an inside barrier, immediately went forward to sit in third, a length behind second. In the straight, pulled out for it run but was unable to catch the winner, Sondelon (SP $6.00), who lead from start to finish. This race was dominated mainly by the front runners. Outcome -0.67 Units.
⛪GAWLER R4 #8 Comzelady @ $21.00 (0.25 UNITS WIN). Going a bit left field here with a 4th race starter for Trainer Chris Bieg who is building a strong reputation (eg3rd in Blue Diamond last Sat with 100-1 shot Free of Debt). Comzelady has improved each run and obviously impressed trainer enough to step out to 1732m here. Can have a soft run from Br2 and showed enough last run to show she will be there at the finish. Suggest an e/w interest at the overs on offer
Result: Unplaced at SP $19.00. Rated $11.00. From the start, immediately went forward and lead. Always had company as leader and challenged from the pack on the turn and dropped out to finish last, 17 lengths off the winner. Outcome -0.25 Units.

BATHURST R1 #5 Let’s Get Animal @ $6.00 (1 UNIT WIN). A positive jockey change should see this bloke lose his mdn status after a good second last run. Fitter now and ready to bounce.
Result: Unplaced at SP $3.50. In the seven horse field, settled at the rear of the field, one off the rails. Not happy with the slowish speed, moved up three wide to sit in second, just behind the leader. Though come the top of the straight, Let’s Get Animal had enough and dropped out to finish near last. Outcome -1.00 Unit.
BATHURST R2 #9 Mirandus @ $6.00 (1 UNIT WIN). A very good turn of foot she has a flew home from the clouds for 3rd last start. G Ryan up today and a good win price to boot.
Result: Unplaced at SP $6.50. Rated $6.80. Settled midfield one off the rails. Prior to the turn, moves were being made by numerous horses and Mirandus settled just behind the leader. At the top of the straight, Mirandus was the widest runner and despite struggling in the final stages, ran alright to finish 6th or midfield. Outcome -1.00 Unit.
BENDIGO R4 #4 Colliver @ $7.00 (0.84 UNITS WIN). A bit stiff in the running last start on a slow track but is fitter, has the winkers on and is ready to perform on the dry IMO.
Result: Unplaced at SP $12.00. Settled midfield, three wide no cover. At the straight, quickly dropped out to finish a long last. Outcome -0.84 Units.
CAIRNS R4 #4 Lilly Kareena @ $8.00 (0.72 UNITS WIN). Last start winner and down in weight from that win and is rated at overs to repeat that performance.
Result: 4th at SP $4.00. Rated $6.40. Nice market support in the eight horse field. Immediately went forward and quickly settled as the sole leader on the rails. Got off the rails on the turn but was still travelling nicely. In the final 100m, tired somewhat to finish a length fourth. Outcome -0.72 Units.

A nice today with two winners via the SSSS team at Caulfield meaning we showed a nice profit ranging from 7.80 Units to 10.87 Units depending on what prices you took.

Result: 1st at SP $6.00, Best Tote $7.10, Betfair $7.70. Rated $4.30. Settled in the lead on the rails and controlled the speed. Kicked away on the turn to gain a couple of length which it maintained despite being challeneged and hit the line strongly to win nicely. Nice ride by Ollie. Saver bets no luck. Outcome +6.00 Units

Result: 1st at SP $6.50, Best Tote $6.30, Betfair $8.00. Rated $8.60. Settled at the tail of the field, one off the rails. Widest runner on the turn as it gradually made its move and sustained that run to clinch victory. Strong finish. Outcome +5.91 Units.

EAGLE FARM R3 #7 Brains @ $5.50 (1.12 UNITS WIN). Dual Acc here today and has a good record with two wins from three. Jumps up a peg but should handle them IMO.
Result: 4th at SP $4.60. Rated $6.00. Settled midfield, one off the rails. Clean run to the line and looked okay but just couldn’t finish off like the other backmakers and finished a close fourth. Outcome -1.12 Units.
GUNNEDAH R4 #3 Ceasless @ $15.00 (0.36 UNITS WIN). First up here today and has been placed FU. Handles the track and won at this distance and does have the speed to overcome the draw and with Pracey-Holmes aboard he will give him every chance to win.
Result: Unplaced at SP $11.00. Rated $4.50. Massive overlay opportunity. Went forward and eventually settled in a battle for fourth, one off the rails. Went wayward on the turn to the middle of the track and once straightened dropped out and finished worse than midfield. Outcome -0.36 Units.

ALBURY R6 #1 Inglesias @ $8.00 (0.72 UNITS WIN). Will be fitter here third up and a good win last run at wagga. Very nice overs here for a win.

Result: 1st at SP $6.50, Best Tote $7.70, Betfair $9.00. Rated $8.80. In the field of six, Waltonia settled in second, one off the rails outside the leader in the compacted field. At the top of the straight, took on the leader, poked its head in front at the 200m and quickly put a length on the field to win despite the decent betting drift. Outcome +6.32 Units.
SCONE R4 #1 Dalquiri Lass @ $4.60 (1.39 UNITS WIN). Has won this class before and i really dont think the barrier will hold her up. Way over the odds for mine.
Result: 4th at SP $4.40. Rated $3.30. After being three wide with cover early, eventually settled midfield, one off the rails. Moved to the center of the track on the turn for its run home but just couldn’t finish it off to challenge the leaders and finished in fourth without ever really threatening for the win. Decent run though especially being caught wide for half the race. Outcome -1.39 Units.
BORDER R6 #5 Call Me Penny @ $11.00 (0.50 UNITS WIN). Proven around this distance, also first up. A good price for a win collect bet IMO.
Result: Unplaced at $15.00. Rated $9.10. Nice overlay opportunity especially on the tote. Settled on the rails a bit worse than midfield in the eight horse race. Tried to work into the race from the turn but never really got close or threatened to win at any stage in the straight and finished midfield. Outcome -0.50 Units.
MT BARKER R1 #3 So Great @ $4.80 (1.32 UNITS WIN). A very close BT recently she ran third with nothing in it and the 1st and 2nd out of that trial have both won their races out of it. Has a good chance here.
Result: 3rd at SP $3.00. Rated $8.70. Settled at the tail of the field, on the rails. Was the widest runner on the turn as it went through it gears and was finishing well but ran out of ground to catch the leaders being that little too far back during the run. Outcome -1.32 Units.
SCONE R7 #4 Arugula @ $4.80 (1.32 UNITS WIN). Hard to go past this bloke second up, which he has won at, over this distance. Very nice overs and with a master jock in the saddle. Big Chance today.
Result: Unplaced at $8.00. Rated $2.70. Great overlay opportunity, especially with the betting drift. From the wide barrier, pushed forward to settle in fourth, one off the rails just behind the leaders. Moved up four wide in the straight but got the wobbles and tired in the last 200m or so to finish towards the tail of the field. Outcome -1.32 Units.

HAWKESBURY R7 #4 Pamela @ $4.40 (1.48 UNITS WIN). Form reads well here today and should be closest to the post at the finish. Bred to race well at the distance.
Result: 2nd at SP $4.80. Rated $3.75. Settled behind the leader in third on the rails. At the turn got off the rails and made its run down the centre of the track. Though only really whacked away and never really looked threatening for the win. Outcome -1.48 Units.
HAWKESBURY R8 #4 Exclusive @ $4.50 (1.43 UNITS WIN). Had two very good trials but first uo was crowded and sent back. With a bit of luck in running he could show up.
Result: Unplaced at SP $6.50. Rated $8.60. Settled in second, one off the rails, outside the leader. Dropped back through the field from the 200m mark as horse had enough and finished towards the tail of the field. Outcome -1.43 Units..
WARRNAMBOOL R7 #8 Walhalla @ $8.50 (0.67 UNITS WIN). I’M expecting a lot more from this fella with a win third up previously. Has a good draw to serve it up to them today at a nicely rated win price.

PAKENHAM R4 #2 Manchestas Captain @ $11.00 (0.50 UNITS WIN). First starter today caught the eye at a recent BT where he run a good second to a G1 winner Hiyaam. Should go well here today.
Result: Unplaced at SP $16.00. Settled towards the tail of the field, three wide no cover. As soon as pressure applied from the turn, Manchestas Captain folded and finished towards the tail of the field a number of lengths from the winner. Outcome -0.50 Units.

STAWELL R6 #7 Rocky Raccoon @ $6.50 (0.91 UNITS WIN). Down in class and has a win at the distance. Looks like an improver IMO.
Result: 2nd at SP $8.00. Rated $10.40. Settled on the rails at the tail of the field in a relatively compact field. Speed injected into the race as approached the turn with horses taking off while Rocky Raccoon sat back, took inside runs but couldn’t make up the ground necessary from the winner, Primostrat ($31.00 SP) who sat third during the run. Outcome -0.91 Units.
STAWELL R7 #1 Set The Bar High @ $4.50 (1.43 UNITS WIN). Should take catching today with this drop in class and rated overs for a win.
Result: Late Scratching.
RANDWICK R5 #1 Wayanka @ $5.00 (1.25 UNITS WIN). Short turn around here and has to be respected after a last start 3rd and only beaten 0.4l.
Result: Unplaced at SP $5.50. Rated $8.70. Settled right back in the field, one off the rails, upsetting the majority of speed maps. Kept to the inside for runs and really dropped out in the final 100m or so, maybe an issue with the horse from the jockey perspective. Outcome -1.25 Units.
⛪STRATHALBYN R3 #1 Prince Monarch @ $5.50 (1.12 UNITS WIN). Lightly raced 6yo (9-1-4) and a win and 2nd from 2 starts this prep. Just missed last start this class when slowly away and with better start here can go one better.
Result: 2nd at SP $5.00. Rated $6.40. Missed the start and as a result settled at the tail of the field. Prior to the turn, moved up three / four wide and really stormed home in the final 200 meters or so o finish a head away in second. Nice long sustained run. Outcome -1.12 Units.
SANDOWN R6 #7 Seattle Park @ $13.00 (0.42 UNITS WIN). Knocking on the door for a win and fitter for third up. Playing the overs here and hoping the barriers not bad luck.
Result: Unplaced at SP $9.00. Rated $11.80. Went forward as was three wide and settled in a battle for third. When straighted up weakened out of the battle for 1st and was no match for the winners and finished midfield. Outcome -0.42 Units

SEYMOUR R4 #7 Tower Road @ $2.10
Result: 1st at SP $2.00, Best Tote $2.10, Betfair $2.20. Rated $2.69. Settled towards the tail, three wide with cover. Made its move around the turn, four wide but making ground. Hit the lead with 300m to but challenged in the final stages and won in a tight head bobber.

Result: 1st at SP $1.50, Best Tote $1.50, Betfair $1.58. Rated $2.03. Settled in a battle for second, one off the rails, just behind the leader. Took on the leader on the home bend and won in a close fashion, holding off a strong challenge in the final 200

On day where Winx recorded its 30th straight victory, we ended the week on a high with a nice profit today on the SSSS selections. Though unforunately no luck with Rocktober.
We continue our fightback in February clawing back some of the losses from earlier in the month. 22% of our selections this month have come 2nd, which is 7% higher than our average. With a little more luck, some of these selections could have come 1st and our results would be quite different - though as the saying goes, almost equals 0.

Result: Unplaced at SP $10.00. Rated $5.50. Settled in the lead on the rails. Straighted up with a narrow lead and was headed at the 300m mark and dropped out in the final stages to finish slightly worse than midfield. Outcome -0.46 Units.
🏆🏆🏆FLEMINGTON R3 #8 Intuition @ $7.00 (0.84 UNITS WIN). If J.MAC can get this bloke in a good spot from a low gate he should be able to get him home at a well rated overs for a win.
Result: 1st at SP $7.00, Best Tote $6.80, Betfair $7.75. Rated $7.60. Settled midfield, one off the rails. In the straight came through the inside and swopped, took the lead within the final 100m and won by just under a length. Nice win. Outcome +5.88 Units.
BENDIGO R4 #1 Royal Pegasus @ $7.00 (0.84 UNITS WIN). Been waiting for this bloke after his last hit out, won going away. Good price at overs for a win.
Result: 2nd at SP $4.40. Rated $3.75. Lead on the rails. Winning hope as kicked early in the straight and kept on kicking and lead until the final stride when Fabrication (SP $3.20) came just off the speed and got there on the line. Good run,unlucky, especially after pinching breaks and holding off the majority of the challenges. Outcome -0.84 Units
DOOMBEN R4 #3 Takings @ $6.50 (0.91 UNITS WIN). Winning form is good form and i would not have expected this good a price again.

Result: Unplaced at SP $5.50 Rated $7.80. Settled in third, on the rails, just behind the leaders in the field of six. Dropped out on the turn as pressure was applied and finished at the tail of the field. Outcome -1.00 Unit.
FLEMINGTON R8 #1 Osborne Bulls @ $7.00 (0.84 UNITS WIN). Resumes unbeaten FU with an outstanding record. CW aboard and will be storming home for a win cheque again IMO.
Result: 2nd at SP $8.00. Rated $7.25. Settled at the tail of the field on the outside. From the 400m mark, made its run home down the middle of the track and just missed by a head on the line. Was absolutely storming home and unlucky not to salute. Outcome -0.84 Units.
NEWCASTLE R7 #5 Disgraceful @ $11.00 (0.50 UNITS WIN). Ticks all the boxes for us here today and comes in at overs for a win.
Result: Unplaced at SP $12.00. Rated $9.30. Settled one off the rails, in midfield in a strung out field and fast pace. Came down the outside and really stormed home when it was all over, hit the line really well. Outcome -0.50 Units.

Result: 1st at SP $3.40, Best Tote $3.60, Betfair $3.95. Rated $6.90. From the inside barrier, held its position on the rails and settled in fourth, a number of lengths behind the runaway leader. By the turn, field had caught up to the leader and Directory eased out and moved up to the lead at the 200m and ran away with it by a length with a hands and heal ride. Outcome +6.34 Units.
QUIRINDI R5 #2 Nitro Star @ $10.00 (0.56 UNITS WIN). He comes into this off a BT win recently. Showed a good turn of foot and eased down to still win. A good overs bet today.
Result: Unplaced at SP $13.00. After a sluggish start, bustled up early to have a share of the leaders on the rail. Early in the straight, Nitro Star had run out of legs and dropped back to finish a little worse than midfield, a number of lengths from the winners. Outcome -0.56 Units.
QUIRINDI R8 #5 Kenny Succeed @ $6.00 (1 UNIT WIN). Gave nothing else a chance last start and capable of the same with Pracey up. Overs for the win.

In the straight, kept to the inside and seemed to be struggling but as the leader put in the short strides, Indelsias exploded at the 200m mark and won by a head on the line. In the run, you wouldn’t have expected Ingelsias to get even close to the win. Outcome +5.61 Units.
WARRNAMBOOL R8 #2 Blamey House @ $5.50 (1.12 UNITS WIN). FU for a win over this distance then out to the 17oom for a lung opener and back to a 1400m. Has potential.
Result: 2nd at SP $10.00. Rated $12.30. From the inside barrier, took full advantage as it lead on the rails. Kicked on the turn and had a two length lead though the favourite, Trenchant (SP $2.40) coming from the back was just a little bit stronger and won by a length as Blamey House couldn’t hold on. Outcome -1.12 Units.
PAKENHAM R8 #3 Bon’s Ghost @ $10.00 (0.56 UNITS WIN). Has won SU and gave them a start last run to hit the well for 5th 1.9L. Should go well.
Result: Unplaced at SP $13.00. Rated $10.03. Settled slightly worse than midfield, one off the rails. Presented in the straight for its run and while initially made ground had little impact on the margin in the final 200m to finish midfield. Outcome -0.56 Units.

Well the SSSS changed it up just a little today with a two leg multi. While the first leg of the multi saluted in God Of Thunder, our second leg, Pachino Boy was no match for the winner.
On the plus side, the SSSS did hit one winner today and if you took Best Tote or Betfair, you ended up in front.
Unfortunately the two Rocktober selections could only manage third and fourth.

WARWICK FARM R3 #3 Allcash @ $6.00 (1 UNIT WIN). The further the trip the better for this senior citizen. Should stay all day here with a nice overs for a win.
Result: 3rd at SP $5.50. Rated $3.15. Nice overlay. Settled at the tail of the seven horse field. Pace quickened from the 600m mark and while he did run well to the line from the back, the winner, Latin Light (SP $5.00) was way too good having the race won half way up the straight. Outcome -1.00 Unit.
Something for a change of luck here with the next two as they are shorter than we usually tip so im having a muti for (0.50 UNITS) to win 6 UNITS.
WARWICK FARM R4 #7 God Of Thunder @ $3.60
Result: 1st at SP $3.20, Best Tote $3.50, Betfair $3.43. Rated $6.45. Settled in third behind the leaders who running at a decent tempo. Eased out on the turn and soon after, eyeballed the leader and took a narrow lead. From that point, God Of Thunder started to run wayward and what should of been a comfortable victory, turned out to to be a close photo finish.
STONEY CREEK R7 #3 Pachino Boy @ $3.70.
Result: 4th at SP $3.40. Rated $3.40. Settled in a battle for fourth, a couple of lengths behind the leaders, one off the rails after initally being three wide. Changed direction in the straight once or twice though it didn’t affect the result as the winner, Clean Acheeva (SP $2.60) was way too good.
Outcome -0.50 Units.
MURRAY BRIDGE R5 #2 Trooper’s Ploy @ $4.40 (1.48 UNITS WIN). Very gutsy win last start at Gawler and can go on with it today at overs.
Result: Unplaced at SP $7.50. Rated $2.75. Nice overlay but also a drifter in the market. Settled midfield, one off the rails, off a decent tempo. Field was bunched on the turn as pace eased a little but Trooper’s Ploy never ran on finishing at the tail. Outcome -1.48 Units.

Got to the outside in the straight and had a share of the leader with about 150m to go. From there it was a two horse war with Vellaspride just putting its head in front on the post. ⛪MURRAY BRIDGE R6 #10 Simpatico @ $26 EW (0.20 UNITS EW). Good case for Simpatico here based on course record (26-6-7 and t/d 17-6-5). Eye catching run from last behind Knotted over 1200m last start. Meets Knotted (fav here) 6kg better and out to 1400 after 3 1200m runs this prep. Knotted yet to win beyond 1250m. Can see pace on here and Simpatico will finish hard last 100m and can win at good odds. Suggest e/w bet at these odds. Could also consider #5 and #8 at odds for Reward Bet exotics in this race.

Off the rails at the turn and while had an little bumping jewel at top the straight, did hit the line well only losing third place on the line. Though was over a length from the winner. WARWICK FARM R4 #7 Exceltic @ PLACE $7.50 Sports Bet (0.77 PLACE BET). I don’t think we have seen the best of this bloke as yet but what i have seen is good enough for a place bet at good odds.

Morphettville R5 #3 Amberdi @$5.5 1u Win Amberdi is a progressive 4yo mare with 5 wins from just 8 starts and resumes here from an 84 day layoff. Gets 3kg claim and is overs for another 1st up win (3-2-1 record ).
Result: 2nd at SP $5.50. Rated $2.90. Settled third, one off the rails, just behind the leader. At one stage, looked to hit a flat spot in the straight but kept coming in the straight but couldn’t put its head in front at any stage to go down by a neck. Outcome -1.00 Unit.
🏆🏆🏆WARWICK FARM R8 #10 Samadoubt @ $10.00 (0.56 UNITS WIN). A good front runner with a jock to match. Likes the track and the distance and has a good show.
Result: 1st at SP $5.50, Best Tote $6.20, Betfair $7.61. Rated $15.10. From the wide barrier, immediately went forward and found the lead and the rails easily. Held a couple length lead all through the race and its win was never really in doubt - no horse got close to it. Impressive. Outcome +4.38 Units after deductions.
MORPHETTVILLE R7 #8 All Carisma @ $4.00 (1.67 UNITS WIN). Has won third up and put in the effort last start second to look a chance in this.
Result: 2nd at SP $3.60. Rated $5.40. Lead on the rails. In the straight, jockey was always working hard on All Carisma, while the second place horse who had the trail throughout, Domination ($5.50 SP), sidled up and went past pretty easily while All Carisma kept on to hold 2nd. Outcome -1.67 Units.
WARWICK FARM R9 #10 Matowi @ $7.00 (0.84 UNITS WIN). Has put in a couple of nice wins this campaign and come into this a light weight with a good barrier and a better chance.

Squeezed for room slightly as tried to ease out on the turn and from then on was always behind the eventual winner, Richwaite Lady (SP $7.00) and never really looked like overtaking it. Result: 3rd at SP $10.00. Rated $3.70. Nice overlay. Settled around midfield, one off the rails. Presented four, five wide on the turn with a clean passage to the line but just didn’t have the acceleration of the inside horses to claim the honors. Decent run. Outcome -0.91 Units.
ESPERANCE R5 #7 Shirasca @ $6.00 (1 UNIT WIN). Has been knocking on the door her last three runs and is the best value overlay for the day IMO.

BENALLA R6 #7 Pure Emotion @ $9.00 (0.63 UNITS WIN). Has won well at this distance and does go well fresh, seconds mostly but is fitter after two runs back and IMO is worth a ticket at overs for a win.

GRAFTON R6 #2 Bravo Uncle Billy @ $14.00 (0.39 UNITS WIN). Should be ready to click it up a notch here today and at these overs im will to find out.
Result: Unplaced at SP $4.80. Rated $8.85. From the inside barrier went forward and settled two lengths in third on the rails. Under pressure prior to the turn and found nothing and dropped back through the field to finish near last. Unfortunately the money trail was not correct. Outcome -0.39 Units.
GRAFTON R8 #3 Radiant Choice @ $5.00 (1.25 UNITS WIN). Right in this i reckon and comes at overs for a win here today.
Result: Unplaced at SP $9.50. Rated $5.70. Nice overlay on the drifting price. Settled fourth on the rails off a decent tempo. Under pressure prior to the turn but soon after dropped back through the field and finished towards the tail. The drift was on the money. Outcome -1.25 Units.

ARARAT R6 #8 Bel Robbie @ $14.00 (0.39 UNITS WIN). Led and won mdn last start and has had a good jump out recently to keep in tune for this. Rated to win and could very well repeat last win.
Result: 3rd at SP $9.00. Rated $14.25. Settled on the rails, a length or so behind the leading group in fourth. Joined in briefly with a share of the lead at about the 200m mark but was no match for the winner, Street Style ($6.00 SP) who put the foot down at the 200m mark and raced away. Bel Robbie did stuck on well for third. Outcome -0.39 Units.
IPSWICH R2 #5 Joymaker @ $6.50 (0.91 UNITS WIN). Going off the win two back when she stormed home after making contact with another horse and last run wasn’t shabby either. handles the soft and looks as though she should handle the 1710m.
Result: 2nd at SP $3.30. Rated $7.35. In the four horse field, after scratchings, Joymaker wasn’t happy with the initial speed and went forward and lead. In the straight, lead until the 200m mark when overtaken by the eventual winner who waited patiently out the back in the run and waited for its chance. Joymaker did fight back well in the final stages to make it close but couldn’t make up the neck margin. Outcome -0.91 Units.
RANDWICK R4 #4 Mr Dependable @ $6.50 (0.91 UNITS WIN). A first starter who has had two decent trial wins recently and today’s jock T Clark rode him to the last trial win.Looks a good chance.
Result: Unplaced at SP $5.00. Settled in a share of the lead but was three wide for the majority of the straight. Did a bit of work mid race to hit the lead on its own but did tire late, which was understandable given the work it did, but did finish a respectable fifth. Outcome -0.91 Units.
⛪MORPHETTVILLE R5 #4 Pat The Weapon @ $8.00 (0.70 UNITS WIN). Raced 3 wide nearly all the way when head 2nd to Dr Dependable which had the easy run behind the leader at Gawler 28/12/18. Has since had 2 runs for 3rd and then strong win last start. Racing well and with Senior Jockey on can win again at good odds.
Result: 2nd at SP $5.50. Rated $6.70. From the wide barrier, immediately went forward and held the rails spot in second spot, having the trail on the leader. On the turn, pushed out on the turn to have a share of the lead and by the top of the straight had the lead. In the run home had a battle on its hand in the final 200m or so and was just outrun to miss first by a neck. Outcome -0.70 Units.
SANDOWN R7 #6 Burgonet @ $15.00 (0.36 UNITS WIN). Is getting better with every race and comes into calculations today rated at a very juicy overs win odds. Good chance.
Result: 3rd at SP $13.00. Rated $7.00. Great overlay. Pushed forward from its wide position to sit outside the leader. Straightened nicely and hit the front with 200m to go but couldn’t outlast the backmakers who pounced soon after but did battle well on for third. Outcome -0.36 Units.
SANDOWN R8 #11 No Drama Darci @ $5.00 (1.25 UNITS WIN). Good on pace win last start and a recent hit up suggests he will run well again. Reward Bet Banker with #6 Spare Change who is going well and should be right up there at the post.
Result: 2nd at SP $3.80. Rated $8.75. Settled at the tail of the field. Saved ground on the turn as looked for inside runs but then had to weave in and out but kept coming to grab second. Outcome -1.25 Units.

Result: 2nd at SP $8.00. Rated $6.84. Settled immediately from the wide barrier to the tail of the field, about six or so lengths from the leader. Pushed forward for its run 500m from home, going four / five + wide. Upon straightening was up with the leading group and in the final 200m it was a two horse battle with a nose finish at the end which went against us. Outcome -0.91 Units.
WARRNAMBOOL R4 #5 Scorpion Sting @ $7.50 (0.77 UNITS WIN). Not a bad run FU by any means and should go well over more ground at a good price.
Result: Unplaced at SP $10.00. Settled three wide and as a result did push forward and shared third. When pressure applied on the turn, Scorpion Sting didn’t respond at all and finished towards the tail of the field. Outcome -0.77 Units.

CAULFIELD R1 #4 El Sicario @ $14.00 (0.39 UNITS WIN). Has won FU and he is better than his last few runs. A recent jump out win confirms he should be a chance FU again.
Result: Unplaced at SP $21.00. Rated $15.50. Settled midfield though was four wide the majority of the trip. Given the tough run, ran to the line in a respectable fashion to finish midfield, two lengths from the winner. Outcome -0.39 Units.
CAULFIELD R3 #6 Ocean Deep @ $9.00 (0.63 UNITS WIN). On a seven day back up. Winner at Caulfield and placed twice this campaign and Nolen retains the ride. Rates well for the win.
Result: 2nd at SP $9.00. Rated $9.00. Settled in second, outside the leader. Straightened up nicely and ran to the line, giving all it had though was no match for the winner and favourite, Naantali (SP $2.25), who when got the gap in the straight had the race won. Outcome -0.63 Units.
ROSEHILL R5 #15 Nicochet @ $15.00 (0.36 UNITS WIN). Just missed last start after the weight of money cost her a nostril. Where there is smoke there is a winner at good overs IMO.
Result: 3rd at SP $10.00. Rated $11.50. From the inside barrier, settled midfield on the rails. In the straight, kept to the inside and had a good last 100m to gain third, though in a race dominated by the leaders, Nicohcet was over two lenghts behind Outcome -0.36 Units.
EAGLE FARM R4 #5 Impregnable @ $4.80 (1.32 UNITS WIN). Cant knock the form here on horse or Jockey or trainer. Sitting on overs for the win.
Result: Unplaced at SP $5.50. Rated $3.00. After sitting three wide in the early stages, pushed forward to settle in a share of third, one off the rails. When pressure applied just prior to the turn, Impregnable found nothing and finished at the tail of the field. Disappointing. Outcome -1.32 Units.
🏆🏆🏆⛪MORPHETTVILLE R7 #10 Light the Waves @ $5.00 (1.25 UNITS WIN). Lightly raced 4yo mare is 2nd up here after a fast finishing effort for third over 1200m on 28/12. Out to 1550m will suit better and gains senior Jockey. Track reports indicate she has been kept up to the mark and can prove hard to beat here.
Result: 1st at SP $6.00, Best Tote $6.40, Betfair $7.20. Rated $6.00. Settled towards the tail of the field, on the rails. Off the bit prior to the turn though making ground. Was four wide at the turn and upon straighting was looking very promising. Loomed up and took the lead easily at the 100m and went on to win by about two lengths. Nice win. Outcome +4.56 Units after deductions.
NEWCASTLE R8 #5 Whiteley @ $8.00 (0.72 UNITS WIN). On a five day back up here and may have found the race to collect a cheque in.
Result: Unplaced at SP $7.50. Rated $9.10. Settled in fifth though was squeezed for room trying to find its position in the run which the horse didn’t appreciate. Whiteley pushed out on the turn as it made it run for home and made nice ground in the final 100m to finish fifth, a length from the winner, Alnaas ($3.40 SP) who came from the back. Outcome -0.72 Units.
