PARKES R4 #3 Mango Listen @ $7.50 (0.77 UNITS WIN). Racing well and looks good here today on a win two back. Overs here today for a win.

Result: 2nd at SP $7.00. Rated $2.68. Great overlay. Settled in third, one off the rails. Went three / four wide on the turn and chased the leader and eventual winner, Dead Reckoning ($21.00 SP), up the straight but couldn’t catch them. Outcome -0.77 Units.

WERRIBEE R3 #14 Third Coming @ $4.80 (1.32 UNITS WIN). Having only second career start and had a couple of good hit ups recently.

Result: 2nd at SP $1.75. Settled midfield with a nice trail into the race. Went four wide on the turn and kept going soundly in the straight but no match for the winner. Outcome -1.32 Units.

WERRIBEE R8 #10 Pachino Boy @ $10.00 (0.56 UNITS WIN). Like the way he run last start for third only beaten 1.1L. Right on his rated price here today.

Result: 3rd at SP $6.50. Rated $7.65. Settled midfield on the rails. Eased out on the turn and really motored home the final 150m or so when the race was over. Never a real winning hope though. Outcome -0.56 Units.

🏆🏆🏆PAKENHAM R4 #8 Weapon Of Choice @ $5.50 (1.12 UNITS WIN). Should improve after last start third on a soft track.

Result: 1st at SP $5.00, Best Tote $5.50, Betfair $7.19. Rated $7.68. Settled third, one off the rails, a couple of lengths behind the leader. Went up three wide on the turn and really buckled down in the straight and stuck to its game to nail a close victory. Good solid win. Outcome +6.16 Units.

GOSFORD R4 #2 The Drake @ $7.00  (0.84 UNITS WIN).  He is actually speedier than what his form is displayed here and has won a couple of BT recently to confirm.

Result: Unplaced at $19.00. Rated $10.10. Settled behind the leaders in third on the rails. At the top of the straight, The Drake loomed up to win however the swoopers came from the back and The Drake couldn’t match them. Outcome -0.84 Units.

IPSWICH R5 #1 King Dynasty @ $5.50  (1.12 UNITS WIN).  Does like the sting out of the ground and goes well at this distance range. A tad overs for a win.

Result: 3rd at SP $7.00. Rated $5.71. In the field of eight, from the inside barrier, King Dynasty went forward and settled third on the rails behind the leaders. Stuck to the inside and got squeezed for room when it went for its run in the straight. Picked up again and finished strongly for third. A little more luck could have easily been a different result. Outcome -1.12 Units.

🏆🏆🏆GOSFORD R7 #5 Autumn @ $6.50  (0.91 UNITS WIN).  Ran 2nd in a recent BT to a subsequent winner Call Me Royal. That was a good lead up to this for win. In the straight, peeled out and really put in the big strides in the final 200m or so to win by a length. Nice win. Outcome +5.33 Units after deductions

GAWLER R5 #2 Incubus @ $7.50  (0.77 UNITS WIN).  Has won first up and can definitely win this if ready.

Result: Unplaced at SP $10.00. Rated $4.89. Nice overlay. In the field of six, shared third on the rails in a compacted field. Gap appeared in the straight but Incubus just didn’t let down and finished towards the tail of field, beaten by two lengths. Outcome -0.77 Units

BATHURST R4 #3 Harry New Shoes @ $6.50 (0.91 UNITS WIN). Has won first up and won a recent BT. Ready for this.

Result: Unplaced at SP $8.50. Rated $9.44. From the wide barrier, settled at the tail of the field, no closer than three wide and at times, four wide. In the straight, always out the back, never a winning hope. Outcome -0.91 Units.

Result: Unplaced at SP $4.60. Three wide midfield and at the 200m loomed up as a chance but the tough run probably told at the end as couldn’t finish the job. Outcome -1.25 Units.

Result: 3rd at SP $3.80. Coming from slightly worse than midfield and in the straight kept to the inside and grinded away for 3rd, three lengths from the winner. Post race, rider was reminded to ride with intent all the way to the post. Outcome -1.50 Units.

Result: 4th at SP $5.00. Rated $2.43. In the field of six, settled at the tail about four to five lengths from the lead. On the turn peeled out and was looking good to challenge the leaders however it hit the wall in the final stages to finish 4th. Outcome -1.12 Units.

⛪MORPHETTVILLE R2 #3 Karlovasi @ $11  (0.50 UNITS WIN).   A winner of 3 from 5 this T/D and drawn Br 2 here to enjoy the run of the race either leading or sitting behind the leader. Is good overs in this small field and is ready to win again.

Result: Unplaced at SP $8.00. Rated $7.47. In the field of five, settled outside the leader in a share of second. When pressure applied on the turn, Karlovasi struggled, dropped back and finished at the tail of the field. Outcome -0.50 Units.

RANDWICK R7 #4 Flow @ $4.80  (1.32 UNITS WIN).  Unlucky FU, forget. Has had two very good trials win recently and looks the bet of the day here for mine at overs.

Result: 2nd at SP $4.20. Rated $3.90. Pushed forward from the wide gate to eventually find the rails and the lead. Cuddled for as long it could, but Tom Melbourne ($5.00 SP) who before today couldn’t win in the past three years, swopped and took over at the 200m mark and won by a couple of lengths while Flow held on for second. Outcome -1.32 Units.

SUNSHINE COAST R7 #9 Ignite The Light @ $7.00  (0.84 UNITS WIN).  Led all the way last start for the win and could do the same here with B Stewart up again at overs.

Result: Unplaced at SP $4.60. Rated $6.46. Settled as the leader on the rails. Was given no break during the run and tired late in the straight as the swoopers swooped in the final 100m as Ignite The Light finished slightly worse than midfield. Outcome -0.84 Units.

RANDWICK R8 #6 Sparky Lad @ $7.50  (0.77 UNITS WIN).  Dual Acc and blinkers come off for the first time today. Waller may have him just about right for this today and i have seen the form he can bring.

Result: Unplaced at SP $15.00. Rated $10.38. Drifted from advertised price to be a nice little overlay. Dragged back from the start to settle in the last quarter of the field, on the rails. Always out the back and never looked a winning chance in the run. Outcome -0.77 Units.

NEWCASTLE R7 #9 Starismo @ $9.00 PLACE  (0.63 UNITS PLACE).  Jumps up a peg but did power home to win at odds last start. Good chance for a place at odds here today.

Result: Unplaced at SP $21.00 (win). Settled in fourth, one off the rails, a length or so behind the leaders. As pressure applied on the turn, dropped back through the field and finished towards the tail of the field. Outcome -0.63 Units.

SUNSHINE COAST R9 #4 Cool Sequence @ $9.00  (0.63 UNITS WIN).  Unlucky last start. Flew home the previous for 2nd and the extra distance looks like it should suit.

Result: Unplaced at SP $13.00. Rated $14.51. From the outside barrier, drove forward to sit fourth one off the rails, a length behind the leader. Went three wide on the turn as it made its run, however was unable to match the run of the winner and struggled late to finish in the second half of the field. Outcome -0.63 Units

PORT MACQUARIE R6 #2 Duck In Dubai @ $8.50 (0.67 UNITS WIN). Has an excellent FU record being 3 from 5 and won a recent BT ready for this.

Result: Unplaced at SP $8.50. Rated $9.77. Settled on the rails, in a share of fourth off a hot speed. Under pressure from the turn and in the straight was only plooding to the line until eased out of the chase from about the 200m mark. Outcome -0.67 Units.

GOULBURN R6 #8 Horn @ $5.50 (1.12 UNITS WIN). Will be fitter for two previous runs and broke the mdn last start. Baker and Lever a good combo.

PORT MACQUARIE R7 #1 Shelly Beach Road @ $6.00 (1 UNIT WIN). Back for a new trainer and does has form on the board, good enough to win here today with some weight relief.

Result: Unplaced at SP $4.80. Rated $5.00. Settled in a share of fourth on the rails. On the turn got off the rails and while initially blocked for a run, soon after did squeeze through a small gap. However this loss of momentum cost Shelly Beach Road as the swoopers came down the outside to claim the race. Outcome -1.00 Units..

MOONEE VALLEY R4 #7 As It Lies @ $4.60 (1.39 UNITS WIN). Won once this prep and drops in weight for this. Won a recent hit up and looks a good win bet here today.

Result: 2nd at SP $4.60. Rated $3.33. Settled in share of the lead, one off the rails. Straightened up under pressure and while it ran well through the line, the winner, Makahu Boy ($6.50 SP) who sat behind the speed and had the softer run took over in the final stages and claimed victory. Outcome -1.39 Units.

Result: 4th at SP $7.50. Settled fourth off the slow speed. Held ground in the straight though no match for the winner. Outcome -0.91 Units.

Result: 3rd at SP $5.50. Rated $8.90. Bit slow out the gates but used the rail to go forward and settle in a battle for 2nd on the rails, a length behind the leader. Kept its position in the straight but unable to muster the speed and acceleration to threaten the leader. Outcome -0.63 Units.

🏆🏆🏆IPSWICH R3 #2 Smokey diamond @ $6.00 (1 UNIT WIN). Should be hard to hold out today after his good second on pace last run.

Result: 1st at SP $6.50, Best Tote $7.80, Betfair $10.50. Rated $6.34. Settled midfield, one off the rails from the wide barrier. Three wide from just before the turn as it made it move forward. By the top of the straight had joined the leaders and in a fight up the straight, was just able to claw over the top and hang on to victory by a length. Outcome +6.00 Units.

PAKENHAM R5 #3 Backfill @ $5.50 (1.12 UNITS WIN). Is capable of a win this fella and today with Oliver up he could have his chance.

Result: 3rd at SP $7.00. Rated $8.05. Settled in 2nd, one length behind the leader and one off the rails. On the turn was in a three way tie for the lead but couldn’t keep up its speed to match the winners and finishing a couple of lengths behind the winners. Outcome -0.84 Units.

DOOMBEN R1 # 2 Mr Misunderstood @ $12.00  (0.46 UNITS WIN).  He pulled out at the 1000m last start and came home for a good third and looks to me that this distance may suit. A great overs for a win.

CANTERBURY R3 #5 Navigator @ $5.50  (1.12 UNITS WIN).  Does have good form from back in the winter so if he can bring his FU form we will have this in the bag.

Result: 3rd at SP $7.00. Rated $11.85. In a small field of six, Navigator lead on the rails but had no peace up front in the bunched field. On the turn was immediately under pressure but stuck on its run to finish a length third. Outcome -1.12 Units.

CANTERBURY R4 #7 Cisco Bay @ $12.00  (0.46 UNITS WIN).  Run a very good second under a hold to a smart one in a BT recently. Has won FU and good odds for a win.

Result: Unplaced at SP $7.00. Rated $14.78. In the field of six again, Cisco Bay settled at the tail on the rails about four or so lengths from the lead. Stuck to the inside for its run and made a little ground initially, was never a winning hope and finished towards the tail of the field. Outcome -0.46 Units.

SANDOWN R2 #9 Pure Emotion @ $5.50 PLACE  (1.12 UNITS PLACE).   A very good jump out win by about 3.5L with a few gear changes, looks good today for the place.

Result: Unplaced at SP $19.00 (for the win). Settled a little worse than midfield, three or four lengths behind the leaders. Got off the rails in the straight though lost ground and from then just battled home. Outcome -1.12 Units. 

⛪MORPHETTVILLE R4 #6 Rizski @ $10.00  (0.56 UNITS WIN).  Has been racing strongly in higher grades last few and back in Maiden class here. Happy with R Clark and 1.5kg claim at good odds to break through.

Result: 3rd at SP $2.60. Good market support even with the scratchings. Settled in second, one length or so behind the leader. On the turn, had a share of the lead, took over at the 200m though tired in the final 100m to finish 3rd. Outcome -0.56 Units. 

🏆🏆🏆SANDOWN R3 #3 Burgonet @ $4.40  (1.48 UNITS WIN).  Looks ready for a win here, has won 3rd up before.

Result: 1st at SP $4.00, Best Tote $4.50, Betfair $4.32. Settled in the lead by approximately two lengths. Kept going soundly in the straight to hold off all challenges, in part thanks to the good lead it had in the run. Outcome +5.67 Units after deductions.

ROSEHILL R5 #9 Platinum Tycoon @ $8.50  (0.67 UNITS WIN).  Very capable of taking home the winners cheque here today. Fires well FU and won a recent BT.

GOLD COAST R8 #3 Petain @ $6.00  (1 UNIT WIN).  Two from eight this campaign and still has one or two left in him i reckon. Carries less weight here.

On the turn stayed wide and quickly joined level with the leaders. Just prior to the 100m mark, had hit the front and won by over a length, hitting the line nicely. Straighted up in second and tried to in the straight to make up the two or so lengths Red Crown had, but despite Degrasse going well, Red Crown just went that little better. Outcome -1.32 Units.

Speed dropped mid race as Joy For Us joined the back of the field and was the widest runner and finished very well to be about two lengths from the winner at the post. GOSFORD R6 #2 Singing @ $11.00 (0.50 UNITS WIN). Dont worry about the age here. Hes just had two impressive BT for a 2nd and a win while held. If hes let go at the right time here he should give them a good shake.

RANDWICK R2 #3 Fui San @ $11.00 (0.50 UNITS WIN). Ran on strong last start for 3rd. Drops weight and does like the sting out of the ground. Rated overs for a win.

Was one of the widest runners in the straight but didn’t have the zip to make the leaders quiver and finished towards the back of the field. Outcome -0.50 Units.

In the straight found a clean room quickly, came down the outside well, hit the lead 200m out to score a nice victory. Did tire slightly late along with a fast finishing 2nd horse but had a big enough gap and won by about a length. Outcome +6.16 Units

GOLD COAST R4 #12 Chillin With Dylan @ $26.00/7.00 (0.20 UNITS WIN) (0.42 UNITS PLACE). On a seven day back up and drops 5kg from las run. Willing to have this small wager at a good price for a better return. Should go well.

RANDWICK R5 #2 Badajoz @ $14.00 (0.39 UNITS WIN). Forgive the last run jump from 16 at doomben and wide all the way. A good lung strengthener for this here today at overs for a win.

Result: 4th at SP $9.00 Rated $6.61. In a field of five, Badajoz settled in second outside of the leader. Cuddled for as long as possible in the straight but when pressure applied, Badajoz couldn’t respond. Outcome -0.39 Units.

On the point of the turn got off the rails and was one of the widest runners coming a little worse than the middle of the track. Despite giving its best efforts in the straight, it just could not get past the winner, Narelle ($13.00 SP), going down by half a length at the finish. Outcome -1.12 Units.

DEVONPORT R6 #5 It’s A Battle @ $6.00 (1 UNIT WIN). Won well around here last start and i reckon he can go close do doing it again.

The leader and eventual winner, Century Arrow ($2.50 SP) kicked on the turn and gained a winning margin while It’s A Battle battled to the line to hold third with other horses making minimal ground in the straight. On the point of the turn, You Make Me Smile, kicked and put a couple lengths on the rest of the field and that margin was maintained winning very easily by three lengths. Outcome +5.50 Units

On the turn went off the rail to the middle of the track like the majority of the field, hit a flat spot but picked up again in the final couple hundred of meters to finish a respectable third. CESSNOCK R4 #3 More Chilli @ $4.40 (1.48 UNITS WIN). Very good form in a good stable and just may be first to the post here today

Result: 2nd at SP $5.00. Rated $6.37. Settled on the rails in a battle for second a length or so behind the leader. Presented one of the rails at the top of the straight and hit the lead at about the 200m mark but the winner, Undaoaf ($18.00 SP) who had More Chilli back took over at the 100m out and went on to win. Sitting outside the lead, Here De Fox took the lead at the top of the straight as Admiral Joker ($2.15 SP) got off Here De Fox back to challenge all the way up the straight, eventually getting its head in front in the final 50m and take the win over Here De Fox. Outcome -1.50 Units

Warrnambool Race 3 No.3 Melody Calling @ $5 (1.25 UNITS WIN)

Result: 4th at SP $3.50. Coming from the back, went up four, five wide at the top of the straight and ran really strongly through the line but was too far back from the leader / winner to seriously challenge it - too far back. Outcome -1.25 Units.

Result: 3rd at SP $2.90. Top of the straight was bolting for a run but was initially held up and then ducked and weaved to find a clear passage which it got about 200m from home but couldn’t catch the leader / winner. Cleaner run, could have been a different outcome. Outcome -1.50 Units.

WANGARATTA R7 #8 First Watch @ $13.00  (0.42 UNITS WIN).  Coming off a win at Yarra Valley and drawn the rails. Carries less weight and is nice overs.

Speed was on well before the turn and First Watch was off the bit chasing early and never made up any ground in the straight and finished midfield in a race where the money positions were filled by the front runners. SUNSHINE COAST R6 #6 I Dream Of Green @ $9.50 (0.59 UNITS WIN). Was on him last start as fav but jockey was injured and pulled him up 200m short of the post. Big Chance. SAVER RB Banker with #1 Coach with anything else you fancy. So, 6,1>????

Result: Unplaced at $15.00. Rated $13.65. Lead on the rails. Took a while to settle properly throwing its head around. On the turn got about a three lead but started putting in the short strides with about 200m to go and finished down the order of placings. The #1, Too Hard Too Rattle finished second. Result: 2nd at SP $15.00. Was vetted prior to the start. Settled in fourth just behind the leaders. Was presented in the straight nicely and got to the lead at about the 300m mark. That lead got ever so bigger until the final 100m when the favourite, Villa Sarchi (SP $4.40), who settled at the back, swopped upon Bold Type and ended up winning easily. Outcome -0.67 Units.

SAPPHIRE COAST R6 #2 I Am Rush @ $6.50 (0.91 UNITS WIN). Fitter for FU run 3rd. I reckon he will give this field a shake up.

Result: Unplaced at SP $8.00. From the wide barrier, was hustled early to go forward and settled outside the leader. In the straight, leaders were very quickly passed and I Am Rush finished towards the tail, a number of lengths from the winners. Outcome -0.91 Units.

STRATHALBYN R2 #3 Dunkirk @ $4.80 (1.32 UNITS WIN) Was beat 6L by a good horse 2nd last start but was 1.3L in front of 3rd. Looks a good win bet here today.

Result: 1st at SP $3.30, Best Tote $3.40, Betfair $3.51. Rated $2.82. Settled with cover midfield. Good trail into the race and hit the lead with about 200m to go and fought on to win nicely by just under a length. Outcome +6.43 Units

RANDWICK R6 #7 Without Revenge @ $8.50  (0.67 UNITS WIN).  Began with them and settled at the back and came home strong over the top to finish first when FU.  Can do this again IMO.

BUNBURY R3 #8 My Lady Fair @ $6.50  (0.91 UNITS WIN).  Should be able to repeat last run win with a good jump. Was a very dominant win.

Result: 4th at SP $8.50. Rated $9.89. Settled in sixth, three wide with cover. Come out at the top of the straight and kept on challenging the leaders though did tire in the final 100m or so to finish in a photo for fourth. Not bad considering it was three plus wide the entire trip. Outcome -0.91

RANDWICK R8 #8 November Man @ $15.00  (0.36 UNITS WIN).  Has the blinkers on today and some handy weight relief. Good price today for a win bet IMO. (edited) (edited)

Result: 2nd at SP $17.00. Rated $14.01. Settled towards the tail, one off the rails. Absolutely flew home especially in the last 200m to chase down the leaders who lead by a number of lengths to force it to a photo finish and lost by a nose. From the initial replays, I thought we were home. Oh so close!!!!!!! Outcome -0.36 Units.

Result: Unplaced at SP $4.40. Three wide midfield in the run though by the turn Rosamond was struggling and finished at the tail of the field. Outcome -1.12 Units.
